The Company

About Digitrapay Gateways

A New Delhi payments company operating electronic payment systems end to end - acceptance at the counter and the checkout, movement across bank rails, and settlement back into the merchant's account.

Digitrapay Gateways Private Limited exists for a simple reason - a business should integrate once and reach every payment instrument its customers actually use.

Most merchants end up stitching together a gateway for cards, a separate wallet provider, a bank portal for NEFT and RTGS, an agent platform for Aadhaar-enabled cash-out and yet another vendor for bill collections. Five contracts, five reconciliation files, five support queues, and no single view of the money.

We collapse that into one switch. Collection channels feed a common core that routes, tokenises, screens for risk and writes to one ledger - then settles out to card networks, UPI, bank transfer rails, the Aadhaar-enabled network and the bill-payment ecosystem. One integration, one dashboard, one reconciliation.

  • Merchant agreement & KYC
  • PCI-DSS aligned controls
  • Tokenised card storage
  • Registered Pvt Ltd entity

A payment is not finished when it is authorised. It is finished when it is settled, reconciled and explainable.

The Surfaces Your Customers Actually Touch

Technology & Security

Infrastructure Built to Be Audited

Payments fail in boring ways - a bank endpoint times out, a webhook is delivered twice, a refund races a settlement. Our platform is designed around those failures rather than around the happy path.

  • Smart routing across acquirers

Traffic shifts between acquiring banks on success rate and cost, with automatic retry on a second route when the first declines for a technical reason.

  • Tokenisation and key management

Card numbers are replaced with network tokens; keys sit in a hardware-backed store and never in application code or logs.

  • Idempotent APIs and signed webhooks

Every write takes an idempotency key and every callback is signed, so a duplicate delivery can never double-charge or double-pay.

  • Risk scoring before authorisation

Velocity, device and beneficiary checks run in line, with merchant-configurable rules and a review queue for anything borderline.

The Dashboard Your Finance Team Will Live In

Acceptance is the easy half. Everything after authorisation - settlement, reconciliation, refunds, disputes - is where a payments partner earns its keep.

  • Live Transaction View

Every attempt, success and decline as it happens, filterable by rail, channel and store.

  • Settlement & Reconciliation

Cycle-wise payout reports matched line by line against bank credits, with breaks flagged.

  • Refunds & Payouts

Single or bulk refunds and disbursals, with the rail chosen by urgency and amount.

  • Disputes & Chargebacks

Case tracking with document upload, representment deadlines and outcome history.

  • Team Roles & Approvals

Maker-checker on payouts, scoped access per branch, and a full action audit trail.

  • Reports & Invoices

Scheduled exports, GST-compliant fee invoices and an API for your own accounting stack.

Our Advantage

Why Merchants Move Their Volume To Us

Every Rail Under One Contract

Gateway, cards, wallets, AePS, bank transfers and bill payments - without juggling five vendors and five reconciliation files.

Integration Measured in Days

Sandbox keys immediately, clear reference docs, and an engineer on your integration channel until you are live.

Merchant Voices

What Our Merchants Say

How Onboarding Works

From First Call to First Settlement

Four gates, each with a named owner and a written sign-off. Nothing goes live until the previous gate is closed.

  1. KYC & Merchant Agreement

Business documents, beneficial ownership, bank account verification and the rate card - signed before any key is issued.

  2. Sandbox & Integration

Test keys, reference docs and a shared channel with an integration engineer while you wire up checkout, webhooks and refunds.

  3. Certification & Risk Profile

End-to-end test cases signed off, velocity and exposure limits agreed, and the settlement cycle configured for your business.

  4. Go-Live & Settlement

Production keys, a monitored first week, and the first settlement report walked through with your finance team.

Questions

Answers Before You Ask

The questions merchants raise on the first call - answered plainly, so the call can be about your business instead.

How long does onboarding take?

Most merchants go live in 7 to 14 working days. KYC and the merchant agreement usually take two to three days once documents are complete; integration and certification account for the rest, and run in parallel with your own release schedule.

What documents do you need for KYC?

Certificate of incorporation or registration, PAN, GST registration where applicable, the business bank account proof, and identity and address proof for directors or proprietors with beneficial ownership details.

Regulated categories may need additional licences - we tell you exactly what applies to your business before you start collecting paperwork.

When does money reach my bank account?

Card and net-banking collections settle on a T+1 cycle by default. UPI, IMPS and bill payments confirm in near real time and are included in the same day's cycle.

Faster cycles are available on request and are written into your merchant agreement rather than left as a verbal assurance.

Can I start with one product and add rails later?

Yes. Every product sits behind the same integration and the same dashboard, so enabling card acquiring, a wallet programme, AePS or bill payments later is a configuration change and a commercial addendum - not a second integration.

How is pricing structured?

A rate card per instrument, quoted against your expected volume and average ticket size. There is no separate platform or dashboard fee, and settlement terms sit in the agreement alongside the rates.

Chargeback and dispute handling charges, where they apply, are stated up front rather than appearing on an invoice later.

Do you handle payouts as well as collections?

Yes - single, bulk and scheduled payouts over IMPS, NEFT and RTGS, with beneficiary validation before the transfer and a callback on every leg. The rail is chosen by urgency and amount, with automatic fallback when one is unavailable.

Is there a sandbox before going live?

Sandbox keys are issued as soon as the merchant agreement is signed, with test credentials for every enabled rail, simulated success and failure cases, and webhook replay so you can prove your handlers before production traffic arrives.

What happens when a transaction is disputed?

Disputes appear in the dashboard with the network's representment deadline, the evidence required and an upload slot for your documents. Nothing is debited without a notification, and the full case history stays available for audit.
